The assault
on our lives and sanity is continuing!
When you finally understand the nature of this assault it is, I think, far more insidious than any nuclear bomb that Saddam Hussein could hurl in our direction. I write here, and now, about the Drugging of America. It has been ongoing, yes! But, lately the pace of the attack has greatly increased. There is little time to be complacent about this.
There are many dangers facing our society, including Iraq.
The President laid out THOSE dangers well:
Bush framed the casus belli with devastating clarity: "Eleven years ago, as a condition for ending the Persian Gulf War, the Iraqi regime was required to destroy its weapons of mass destruction, to cease all development of such weapons and to stop all support for terrorist groups. The Iraqi regime has violated all of those obligations." Even today, Saddam Hussein (news - web sites) has chemical and biological weapons that violate the terms of that treaty; he is rebuilding weapons facilities, assembling new squads of manned and unmanned aerial vehicles, and continuing to seek nuclear weapons, all clear treaty violations. No matter
how many terrorist attacks may come, they
destroy some buildings, kill some, perhaps,
thousands of people, and
even drive us into fear and terror. I
have written about the design of
terrorists attacks -- to create terror.
Yes, terror was created in some, but many
others responded by buying American Flags and
flying them with pride and resolve.
Some, yes, sought refuge in the final evil of
anti-depressant drugs, preferring to be an
unthinking vegetable than a meek human being.
You have that choice today!
But none of the above affects the soul of man.
Man has faced plagues, depressions, war and great evils, but never in all of history has there been "available" a "remedy" so much worse than the problem as to make it forever impossible for man to be man, again, but to sink to the level of vegetable, moving about in the way of a puppet.
The terror and fear? Yes, they are reversible, today, with pep talks, display of the Flag, and fighting back against enemies which can be found, hidden in their caves and secret cells.
But, once the psychiatric drugs are started, then we get to a new state of the Drugged American Culture -- a new low in the state of mankind not seen on the planet before.
By no means the most revealing of stories, yet one story that does tell much, in the Wall Street Journal of October 9, 2002, published HERE, and excerpted below:
It was the beginning of an extraordinary transformation in Japan. Once, says Mr. Takiguchi, "no one would say, 'I have a psychiatric illness.' ... It was a really shameful disease." Today, thanks in part to Mr. Takiguchi's show and the marketing efforts of several giant pharmaceutical companies, many Japanese doctors have embraced the new model of depression, and there are two fast-selling Prozac-type drugs on the market -- although the country still has to wait another two years for Prozac itself. Ichiro Kitasato, Meiji's president, read "Listening to Prozac" and required all senior pharmaceutical managers to do the same. But that was tough: The book, which was written by psychiatrist Peter Kramer and published in the U.S. in 1993, has yet to be translated into Japanese. So they split up the work, each reading a chapter and reporting its main message to the others, recalls Katsuyoshi Ogawa, head of product management. Dr. Kitasato, the scion of a well-known Japanese medical family, recalls that he jumped at the chance to market the drug when Solvay was looking in the late '80s to bring it to Japan. "People in the company said there are too few patients in Japan," he says. "But I looked at the U.S. and Europe... and thought this is sure to be a big market." (source)
Forced drugging of your children, in your home, or jail if you refuse to allow it! Could this be the future of our society?
It is happening now! You could say that it has happened. In California the law was signed by Gov. Davis in September 2002. Similar laws have been in effect in other areas for some time. As will usually be the case the first few years that this law is in effect there will be no blatant use of it -- no use that would motivate civil liberties' protectors to protest. But, a few selected cases will be put forth. Where some kid, for instance, fails to take his Prozac, is ordered to take it, the parents refuse and then the kid murders some "young innocent little girls" or some such. As often happens there will then be a backlash of misled public opinion -- thinking the murder could have been prevented by putting this kid on Prozac. So, the concept of forced drugging, in your home, of your children, with no court or legal review, will be advanced a few more steps.
It will not be many more years before this danger has so engulfed us as to be irreversible. It may be too late to reverse this law in California, or other areas, but the fight must be still waged. I don't know the best strategy, personally, but I know the battle is one of the most important in our times.
